For the past 10 years I have worked on sveeral projects traveling to all corners of the earth. My For primary focus is documenting cultural symbols and what impact they have on daily life. I prefer color and I attempt to photograph people going about their daily life in a positive way.
In 2009, Blues, Booze, & BBQ held exhibits in Photo Week Washington, DC, Houston Photo Fest and Powerhouse Arena in Brooklyn, NY.
Blues, Booze, & BBQ won the 2010 Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Award for photography. This is my first book published by powerHouse Books. Available at Amazon or your local book store.
I am currently working on my second book project, BEER, BAIT, & AMMO, documenting the hunting and fishing culture of the U.S. coast.
I donate all the proceeds from Maverick Images the Gallery to the Alzheimer's Association.
